On 19 August, Jacqueline Caancan, Director of the DENR-National Capital Region (NCR), and Manuel Muhi, President of the PUP, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOA) for the ENR Ambassador project. PUP San Pedro Campus was established on April 9, 2002 as an open university center based on a Memorandum of Understanding signed by felicismo A. Vierneza, then mayor of San Pedro, Laguna, and the president of the PUP, the former, Ofelia M. Carague. PUP San Pedro first proposed a unique curriculum program, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Management. Two sections of 119 students who attended the courses were installed in a two-room building rented from the San Pedro Manpower Training Center (SPMTC) of the Elvinda sub-division. About 120 chairs were donated by teresita Lazaro, then governor of Laguna. The agreement aims to identify, equip and mobilize pup students qualified as AMBASSADORs of the ENR, in order to become competent and credible advocates of the DENR campaign for information, education and communication (IEC). Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sablayan (PUP – Sablayan) is a university of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. The Sablayan campus was born out of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOA) signed in 2010 by the Sablayan Municipal Government and the PUP. And only in 2018, when the campus was part of the university system thanks to RA 11056.
With this integration, the Sablayan campus is now considered the 21st satellite campus of the PUP. Currently, the Sablayan campus offers various undergraduate and graduate programs. These include programs in the fields of education, administration and economics. In addition to these programs, an associated degree in tourism management is open to admissions. Guillo, at the Ninoy Aquino Library and Learning Resource Center in PUP Manila on October 14. “By supporting their training, we can use their skills and transform them into effective educators and environmentalists,” said Antiporda. “In the future, Hindi long ang DENR ang kikilos para sa kalikaan, kundi buong bayan na (denr will not be the only one acting for environmental protection, but the whole country).” BIG 2 are the two major industry organizations, which are student-led and members. These organizations are the official representation of students and the publication of university students.
They are led by the President of the Central Student Council and Editor-in-Chief of The Searcher. The university president manages the university generally to ensure that the university`s efforts are geared toward achieving the institutional vision, mission, goals and objectives of the PIP.
